Hey! I'm nathalia velásquez, and I'm new in the Steemit community. I'm a Tribal Fusion Dancer, and it is a very new and fresh dance form that I really want to get people to know, love and learn :)
I'm very excited about sharing dance tutorials made by me; costume tutorials, texts about the history, cultural background and opinions of Raqs Sharqi (known too as bellydance), and the particular style I dance TRIBAL FUSION.
I really hope my posts bring you a new vision of 'bellydance' and you get motivated to start learning this beautiful dance with me.
I'm 24 and I've been playing instruments, dancing, drawing and exploring myself into the art since I was 5 years old. At the age of 20 I got a degree in graphic design and that's what I still do for living, it is a pretty interesting and creative job but 4 years ago something happened and it really changed my life.
I met my first Tribal Fusion teacher, and I got absolutely captivated by this type of dancing, it just seemed to me so fresh, so strong, femenine and complete that I fell in love with it.
I felt so good at dancing that I decided to become a great dancer as a life goal, and at some point live as a fulltime dancer.
Through these years, I've been learning from great teachers and founding my own voice in dance, I've had the opportunity to dance as a soloist and in group, I've travelled across the country to perform and I feel this is just the start of it, I will love the opportunity to show you what I have learned and learn from you too
