I found out about Steem while looking up price charts for Bitcoin and have basically dived in headfirst, reading some suggested posts and taking notes so I don't look like a complete moron. I'm not entirely sure it's worked, but... oh, well.
I'm well aware that what you're supposed to do is take a picture of yourself holding a sign with the current date on it, but I've decided to do your eyes a favor and take a picture of my cat, Eloise, instead. The world could always use more cat pictures.
The world could probably use better picture quality, too, but that was the best I could do. I'm sorry.
I suppose I should say a few things about myself: I'm a fifteen-year-old girl living in Arizona who's obsessed with cats and hoping to make a living out of writing(ha!); every now and then, I might try submitting a short story or a few chapters to get a feel for its quality.
On Reddit, I'm u/themoldencrustedmidi, but I haven't been on there in a few weeks and probably won't be returning anytime soon, as I've kind of become disillusioned with it. Too many echo chambers and whatnot. Hopefully, I'll stay on Steemit for much, much, MUCH longer.
I look forward to seeing what becomes of this site and its users!
Upvoted you
Greetings, Bethany! Welcome to steemit!
I like cats too! Sometimes I think the internet was invented for sharing cat pics! :-)
I think you should think about posting some of your writings here! People may like some of what you share. It's hard to tell what people will like, so try posting a few different things and see what happens! Good luck and have fun here!
Oh, absolutely! I just need to... y'know, actually write something. :P
I'm actually very close to completing a chapter of a novella, but new music really helps me write and I'm in the middle of a plot-crucial scene, so I've gotta save up some money for an album or two. Also I'm lazy, so that doesn't really help.
