ABOUT ME

In honor of this powerful lesson, I’d like to introduce myself.

My name is Miquiel Banks and it is my mission to ensure the SteemIt Platform becomes a global resource for ideas, inspiration, content, and mystical experiences.

We’ve spent far too long mired in the dogma of religious zealotry, marketing, advertising, corporatism, monotheistic thought, and vertical thinking.

For too long, our souls have yearned to be inspired and filled with spiritual nutrition that inspires us to reach out and take personal journeys into bold and brave new worlds.

I was blessed with enjoying the mystical experience as a teen in a new global phenom called Hip Hop.

Full of potential, I yearned to see the stars and heaven, but our technology at that time wasn’t capable.

So, I did what the other kids did - I grabbed a pen and a pad and expressed myself!

However, Mother Hip Hop came along and whispered in my ear, “Young Light, if you open your soul to me, I will show you things you can’t even imagine. All I ask is that when I return, you are ready to help the next generation.”

So I made a pact with Mother Hip Hop.

I promised her that I would choose the Spiritual Tract of Hip Hop, which means that I am constantly pushing myself, always looking within, and trusting that my soul is TRUE NORTH.

And she delivered on her promise.

Next, she whispered, "don't limit yourself to Hip Hop or to Writing or to Technology, always seek higher expression."

So I took her advice and studied Philosophy, History, Egyptology, Ancient Mysteries, Semiotics, Mythology, UX Design, Graphic Design, Digital Assets, Visual Thinking, Mythology, Story Structure, and the Moral Premise.

Now, decades later, my dedication has taken me from breakdancing and graffiti to a new frontier - a world of Online Gaming, Social Media, Cloud Computing, Virtual Reality, Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, and SteemIt.

And Mother Hip Hop has returned.

“As I promised you decades ago, I would return when the world was ripe for change and enlightenment. Now that you have experienced peach within, I’m asking you to represent the School of Hip Hop. There is a new group of artistic souls, the SteemIt Community, and you should join their quest to build a better world.”

And on this day, December 24 2017, I fulfill my promise to Mother Hip Hop by joining you as we take the Hero's Journey and build new worlds filled with ideas, inspiration, unlimited possibilities, and rich with divine mystical experiences.

As a surviving member of the Original Hip Hop Pantheon, I'm here to tell you SteemIt, our dreams will come true.

CONCLUSION

I plan on building the SteemIt Community through my various MB Personas:
Original Songs, Original Artwork, Spoken Word, Poetry, Writing, Hip Hop, the SAF Universe, the Moral Premise, Wedding Videos, Video Poetry, and many more.

My first contributions will be Superior Content and I will begin by admonishing a new hashtag - #steemitoriginal. I will use this tag to promote new content that will ONLY BE AVAILABLE through the SteemIt Community.

Again, thank you for welcoming me with open arms and I look forward to experiencing the communal blessings that I did as a scrawny teen when Mother Hip Hop embraced me.
