She's sunshine mixed with rain - An Introduce Myself Post

Where do I start? Well, my early years were spent in Dubai - In the land of vast desert and camels. I was the first born child of a Pakistani Dad and a Filipina Mom. Diverse cultures both inculcated my convictions and my outlook in life. I was brought up loving Adobo and at the same time appreciating Biryani, which are both different but both special to me. I am a simple girl who loves my family so much, value my friends as my family, and think that being positive is to always move forward. For me, my family is my world. They are the reason why I am striving hard in everything I do, and in every aspect I go through.

On my free days, I stay at home and read books, binge watch on my favorite series or have a movie marathon while eating some snacks. I'm not the "party animal" type so if you see a green haired girl (Yep, that's me!) out on a Saturday night, I'm probably going to watch a gig of my favorite indie bands or a concert of Parokya ni Edgar. So, while my friends are out dancing and drinking at a disco bar, I'm at the other side enjoying good acoustic music and munching on some burger and nachos. I love adventures and travelling too but right now, it's just not on top of my priority because #adulting but definitely soon! For now, I'll settle for my #foodadventures first. Wanna know what's the most "instagrammable" cafe around Quezon City? Or maybe where to get good but affordable steak in Manila? Ask me, and I'll take you there! LOL! On the other hand, eating is not the only thing I'm good at. I'm also into arts. I have always dreamed of being involved in Multimedia because of my love for photography and designs so that's what I studied in College. I find it amazing how anything that is so simple turns out to be very beautiful behind the lens of Haley (my camera). Also, you'll often find me awake on wee hours of the night probably doing some arts and crafts or designing with Photoshop / Illustrator or maybe scrolling through Pinterest to find inspirations.

I am but a simple girl with big dreams and determination for a bright future for myself and my family. I know someday, my parents would be proud of me. Of what they have raised and of what difference I would make in the world. One day, you will see me in Paris, Eiffel Tower in my sight, telling myself. - "This is how I have lived my life."
