RE: CANCER – MY SENTENCE TO DEATH? Whether I ultimately live or die, my desire is to publish a weekly post on Steemit and share the reality of my story as it progressively unfolds.

Please note that cancer isn't a disease, merely an indication that some cells in our complex bodies have escaped the detection of our immune system. Cancer develops from within your system, where cells for numerous reasons change from aerobic to anaerobic (hence mutate). Our immune system detects and destroys cancerous cells every day, however if your immune system is weak (can be due to an imbalance in your bodies PH levels -> ie too acidic) then some cell mutations will escape its detection and then continue to grow.

Gary has a good chance at reversing the mutated cells using an array of different methods as people here are outlining in the comments.

I'm only new to the SteemIT community, but so far I'm very impressed with how people come together and provide such insightful and helpful information.

Hi, I of course know that you can't "catch" cancer and that it's a mutation that exists in every human being, but is destroyed. However I think the term disease is still correct:
"Cancer refers to diseases in which abnormal cells divide out of control and are able to invade other tissues." - www.cdc.gov

Yes, the CDC would prefer that you survive, but not for the reason that you might think. That rabbit hole goes very deep though, so I will leave it there for your own research.

Well, me being European, I don't even know what CDC is, I just found cancer definition and since it's a government site I thought it might have some credibility. I wasn't looking for a discussion about people being slaves to the system.

Hi mikeaust ... you must one of NZ's cussies across the tasman? assuming the "aust" refers to Australia. Our closest and dearest friends :) You are so right, the people on steemit appear to be in a class of their own; caring, honest, genuine people I haven't found on any other social site as yet. Appears you are like me ... I'm finding it a pleasure being a part of this community. A mass amount of responses which is helping me in many ways. Kind regards, Gary
