Hello, world.

As an aspiring mathematician and computer scientist, there's no other way to start this introduction than with a "Hello, world"!

My name is Arthur, I live in São Paulo, Brazil, and just like most 20 years old I'm looking for my place in this (crazy) world we live in! I've always loved technology, grew up like a real good new generation nerd, playing games on my PC for as long as I can remember, and always with a great curiosity.

After high school, I planned to be an engineer, since my grandfather has been teaching in the Engineering College here in the University of São Paulo for more than 60 years... But, after almost getting in on my first try (thanks God I didn't!), I realized that Mathematics was my real passion! Last year I started my graduation in Applied Maths, but in 2018 I am starting lots of computer science classes, and maybe I will transfer to the course!

At the same time I had to make all these life changing decisions of what to do with my education, I started working with my parents at my father's company. We mainly work with visual communication; printing in plotters and creating visual art in all kinds of materials! I first started helping both in the production and financial parts of the company, and I really liked it. But I really got interested and excited when, in the first quarter of 2016, we bought our 3D Printer! Since then I contnued helping in the other areas of the company, but mainly wanted to develop these new ideas we had working with 3D Printing. It's been almost two years now, and I've had some incredible experiences! Learning about the incredible maker movement, printing all kinds of cool stuff and designing my own things with my knowledge in 3D Modeling after doind some courses with my dad back in 2013! Nowadays I'm developing some customizable 3D Modeling projects through algorithms, and I'm sure the 3D Revolution is coming!

And of course, when I first heard about crypto I got really excited! It was actually back in 2010, when I read somewhere that there was some new digital currency called "Bitcoin" that was being used in a café in Europe. I was only 13 at the time, and there was no real easy way I could convince my mom that we should buy some... but I tried! I asked if we could try and buy some bitcoins, since it was worth only 1 U$ at the time. But we didn't really try that hard, and it didn't make anything easier being here in Brazil, so I just forgot about it... and then Bitcoin prices pass the U$10k mark for the first time! That's when my mom said to me she would invest some money in it, because I guess she got fed up with me and my cousin talking non-stop about how we could have gotten a lot of money by investing back then!

And that's how I got into this crazy crypto world, and found about Steemit at the start of january. Created my account, and two days ago I got in ! Just been posting some random stuff I really like, any tips or comments you have, I'm all ears!
