Does curiosity still kill the cat?

My name is Martha Whyte, and i am a 22 year old student from a small town in an African country called Nigeria. Curiosity they say kills the cat but i say not unless it leads you to uncover a gold mine. I stumbled upon steemit sometime last year from a group chat i joined on telegram and decided to make a little research about it on my own.. Wow... It turned out to be an amazing platform for people like me. Because although am not a famous writer or a blogger, writing is one of my hubbies which includes cooking, art drawing and watching football . So about myself, I am the 6th child of my parents. I have 8 other siblings and plus my mom and dad we make a complete soccer team. Maybe one of the reasons i love watching football. Lol. Growing up was fun as i had a lot of play time with my other siblings and friends but as we grow older i realized that a lot of things i wanted were either far from my reach or never enough because everything had to be shared between me and my 8 siblings. Soon i decided that if you want something, you have to get it yourself. And so begins my journey to find success and happiness. Now in my fourth year in the University, I believe the steemit community is a great place for meet, interact and add value in which ever way we can and reach out to people around the world. Plus u get paid. So i say my curiosity has lead me to the right place.
