Who I am...
Practitioner of self-love. A fruit muncher, garden grower, and plant cuisine creator. Conscious rebel. Friend and lover with a kind heart. Curious traveler. An open-minded over-thinker and fervent reader. Caregiver extraordinaire. Bit of a hermit. Mostly healthy. Often laughing. Occasionally funny. Doing my best to live a low-tox life.
I value my time and experience more than money and things. Getting to where I am now didn’t come easy.
Who I was...
Hot mess express. Questioner of all things (still true). A med-school drop-out. Survivor of rape and domestic violence. Addict and alcoholic. A young widow. Almost a mother.
I have battled crippling depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and trichotillomania for the majority of my life. Discovered the path to natural healing after allopathic medicine failed me one too many times. A debilitating mystery illness forced me to learn better ways.
I am grateful for all that has shaped who I am today. Through the pain, I was able to discover what’s most important. I choose life.
Who I am striving to be...
Master of self-love. More mindful than mind-full. A strong and limber yogi. Sharer of super tasty foods that promote health, happiness, energy, and spirituality. Plant-based nutrition educator. Healer. Able to make a living doing what I love...all while helping the planet and it's inhabitants. Minimalist. I crave simplicity.
Someday, I see myself raising happy, healthy children in a tropical off-grid community with my love, surrounded by fruit trees and natural swimming holes. Truly being the change that I wish to see, with hope to inspire others to do the same.
Lastly...
I plan to write for Steemit on all of these topics and more! Super stoked over the ingenious potential of this site. I fully believe this is the next big thing for social media. Looking forward to sharing and connecting with all of YOU!! <3

Next, take a look around the Steemit community and check out the chat rooms. You want to start getting known, so take a little time to chat with others and promote your introduction link (in the #postpromotion chatroom)
