How I spend my TIME. (JOURNAL ENTRY)

During the day I work as a Barista, Pouring coffee for office workers in a local cafe/vintage clothing shop. I like to think of my job as an opportunity to provide people with an experience that is somewhat more enjoyable and interesting then the time spent throughout their day at the desk. Often customers will walk in and find me playing the upright piano that was gifted to our shop by a lovely old lady.

In my free time I like to perform music, Whether that be for money or experience, It fills the soul and allows me the creative outlet to vent thoughts and feelings on life. I believe everyone should practice being creative in there time here, Whether that be through writing, music, art, philosophy.. it helps create balance.

Jamming with friends are some of my most enjoyable memories. This Photo is from the old shop me and my girlfriend fixed up with the help of some family and friends. we spent two and a half years living here! many musical moments.

the old Veranda which I spent one long summer revisiting my dreams of being a musician and begun planting seeds which would later become some of my current repertoire. my partner Laura and I were newly in love and I took up surfing again around this time also, love can be so restorative for our lives. I am very thankful for all the kindness she has shared with me in the past four years we have spent together.

Most of all, The learning curve is steep and we make mistakes often.
I remember some advice my father spoke to me a few years back, He simply said in the midst of discussion "Life doesn't owe us anything", And I think he's right. Just being here is enough, To take each day as it comes and deal with the passing times as best we can is all there is.
