Hey steem, Louis here!! I feel a little weird about making a more personal post, but at this point, it seems like the best option. I'm 28, 29 in a couple weeks, queer, a survivor of rape, molestation and surviving life with a mental illness.
I grew up in Kalamazoo, MI where the mayor, Bobby Hopewell has molesed almost a dozen underage and/or disenfranchised boys that I AM aware of. The cherry on top? I've been homeless off and on for something like 9 years now.
Currently, I work with a a mental health crisis center, where I'm a peer support specialist. That's just a fancy way of saying I also have mental illnesses, understand it and keep myself in check enough to help other help people with similar struggles.
I'm saving up money for me to replace a computer someone stole right out of my hands. I am broke, my cryptocurrencies all crashed and my ethereum was in the DAO so no ETC attached. As you can imagine, a computer would enable me in a world of ways. It would allow me to continue to help the mentally ill, homeless or other formally homeless folks I work with. I've been using the computers at the library and have a bricked phone via I can use via wifi but that can only go so far.
I "officially" have Depression and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I'm working with professionals and finding evidence of Bipolar Disorder W/ rapid cycling. As you can imagine, this means there's a world of symptoms that I experience and that play into each other. Everything from mania and depressive bouts, to panic attacks and long lasting memory problems.
This Fourth of July.. The explosions put me in a state of panic. I can't continue to live like this!
Please try and find a local community and learn a martial art such as Capoeria, tai chi or Yoga. I see you have great abs and might already be active in the community you mentioned. What is your favorite sport?
I don't play many sports. I live yoga and meditation.. =)
