Hi Kal! You must be very patient to keep going back to school for your studies. Kudos to you on that one. As they say, patience is a virtue.
Travelling to South East Asia is a very good way to escape your winter so you got a good choice and timing there. I would definitely suggest my country Philippines but that depends on your preferences. If you want more of city life-style, Singapore and Hong Kong are good. If you want more temples and forest, Cambodia can be an option. Japan is also good but if you are escaping winter then you won't escape that in Japan as they have really cold season there. You have to visit another time. Anyway, I am sure you are doing your research about your next destination so good luck.

Thank you for the suggestions, Cambodia Vietnam Indonesia and Phillipines are all options right now. I would love to visit Japan some day too but I may have to leave that for the next time :)
