Welcome to steemit @mr-greens! I was a teacher in Canada for years and appreciate anyone who "teaches" environmental issues. I'm currently in Mexico and the littering on land and ocean is atrocious. The idea of recycling seems to be a new concept as well, but hopefully one day, the entire world will be on board!

thanks for the warm welcome @lynncoyle1 and it feels good to connect with people like you. Pollution is a big issue and I really look forward to a world were people are responsible for the trash they create and are engaged to reduce, reuse and recycle the waste they create.
