Hello steemit community
My name is Rod Macaskill. I'm absolutely buzzing to be involved and participate is something as fast growing and exciting as steemit. It seems such a great way to share our life experiences and knowledge with everyone, where we are all given and equal voice and opinion to express our views and make a difference
I'm fairly new to this kind of stuff, so please bare with me, but can't wait to get started. Like in life we can achieve anything, right?
Like I say, I'm Rod, 28 years old from Aberfeldy, Scotland. All my days i have stayed and then worked in Aberfeldy. My beautiful 3 year old daughter Amaleigh Rose is my pride, love and joy in life and now my priorities have to be for providing the best upbringing for her.
Life itself is an incredible thing, but alot of us aren't living it to the full and until recently i haven't either. Through tough times at home, money worries, bad injuries and being stuck in a dead end job, these all build up mental stress which begins to restricts us. I want to share ways of coping with these situations and making a better quality of life.
Some of us go through life without a care in the world, and stroll through life without creating our own memories that will last a lifetime. Take good care of your body, link it to your mind and find out who you really are and what you really want to do with your life because like I said anything is achievable with the right state of mind. Motivate yourself when times get tough, set your goals in life no matter how small they are and focus on achieving them and quality of life will soon follow
Step out of that comfort zone you have been in for so long and create that dream. This is what i'm trying to do and i'll share with you ways i have developed my mental strength, posture awareness and strength and linking the mind and body.
You will be amazed what is out there for you, follow the right paths and dreams will become reality
I hope you guys will enjoy what i have to say and pass on your knowledge and experiences to me. We can achieve what we want in life, we can make the differences together and make the world a better place

Hey livethedream0208, welcome here :) I am looking forward to read your stories and advices, in 2012 I have been also stucked in a job situation that I really did not like, the situation depressed me much at that time, but it is over :) I want to focus especially on newcomers but also on people that are very active.
