Eh hem…..Hi Steemit, I’m here! I hope I’m not late, traffic was a real b***ch.

Now that I’m here, jumping on the bandwagon and all, I'll give you a small introduction to that which is me. I may not have much to say that will interest many of you, but I am hoping I might interest a few of you, or enough for me to rack up some steem coins!

So I live in NYC, currently in Brooklyn. (Brooklyn’s in da house!) As I know a lot of you LOVE visiting Brooklyn, I will be posting stuff here on local places and fun things to do in case you decide to come to my little neck of the woods. Here is a pic of a popular Greenpoint restaurant called Alameda. It was featured in Aziz Ansari's Netflix show Master of None

I’ve spent much of my career in fashion, which is both as exciting as you think it is and about as horrific as you have no idea it is. I did a lot of event planning during that time and I still enjoy learning about the latest trends and ideas. I will share them on here from time to time.

I also have a few hobbies. I was very much into dollhouses and miniatures* growing up and now that I’m an adult (am I?) I have gotten back into them and I’ve started building my own and really getting creative. I’m always finding and trying new things (sometimes even successfully!) and I’ll be sharing on this topic here too. This is a pic of the first dollhouse I ever had which I received for Christmas when I was 2. Two days later I took a baseball bat to it. What? I was 2!

Who likes to get crafty? I do, I do! I’m all about the DIY. I like to re-purpose old junk and create something new and different. I’ve recently been stockpiling ideas for Halloween décor and I will be posting my hideous creations here, bwah ha ha ha

Lastly, one of my favorite hobbies is gravestone photography. I know, it does raise a few eyebrows and I’m sure a lot of people question why on earth would I want to do that, but I have to say that I find so much beauty in the both the intricacies of the statuary and the sad tales behind them. Perhaps I will inspire some of you to take photos too and share the stories of those who have passed before us. This is one of my favorites taken in Calvary Cemetery in Brooklyn NY.

Oh yeah, and I have this cat. He’s a real a**hole. There will be more on him at some point on here too cause, well, people like cats.
