Welcome to Steemit @feedbackloop.
This is an interesting experiment. Is it your intention for those with smaller SP to upvote you?
Many don't give 100% upvotes anymore and an account with a high SP would actually be losing money by giving this account a 100% upvote and then receiving this 100% upvote in return should they be picked.
SP accounts higher than 1000 might do it out of principle. I am down for manual curation and for seeing smaller channels recognized for their work through manual curation. Goodluck with your experiment.
Here is the post I would like to submit:
Fighting Off The Birds Of Death For Love
Thank you for your submission and input @lexikon082, it is much appreciated! It is my intention to grow and help others grow, and to see if we can make that growth exponential. I believe that this will mostly appeal to users with smaller SP than myself, so I suppose that is the thrust of it, though if users with higher SP than me choose to participate I'm not going to turn them away haha :)
Maybe I'm a little confused about how it works but I thought voting doesn't cost you anything other than your vote power? What I understand is that if you vote on a post at any vote power it will have the same payout to you for your curation no matter what, unless I am confused about that point. I guess I should also clarify that if you want to upvote my posts at any power just out of principal you are more than welcome to as well!
Thank you for your participation and information @lexikon082 :)
No problem, I didn't mind participating. With curation, I don't believe you always get out what you put in. That would be like giving away free money. Think about if you upvoted yourself. You could basically double your money every day just by upvoting yourself. You would get the dollar you upvoted yourself plus a dollar in curation. There is no way the platform could be economically feasible if it allowed that.
Also, there are minnows that upvote and never see a curation reward until they have built up some decent SP. People complain about it all the time.
As I said in my other reply I look forward to seeing this project grow.
