RE: I’m Jo – a travel fanatic, once corporate Londoner now on a new chapter of well-being rediscovery!

Welcome! I'm sure you'll do well and quickly too! I read about menstrual cups a while back, thought they sounded disgusting lol, but understand it's the best option environmentally speaking. Fortunately I'm no longer concerned with all that, growing older has it's advantages! Your reference to the pineal, I hope you find enlightenment.
As for steemit, a suggestion ... if you use the #newbieresteemday tag you'll meet a lot of helpful, supportive people - they're a great community.

Hi @leighleigh, thanks for your warm welcome and the tips, that's really helpful. Haha I know what you mean - I'm on a bit of a mission at the moment to bring environmental sanitary options to the forefront, but I totally understand that menstrual cups sound a bit strange to start with. Look out for my environmental lifestyle posts coming soon and maybe you'll be converted to tell all the women in your family :)

My future daughter-in-law first brought the cups to my attention. She studied environmental science at university. I was really proud of her when my grandchild was born, and she decided to use cloth nappies instead of disposables. Looking forward to your posts!
