Hello from Adventures of Leanna

Hello! My name is Leanna and welcome to Adventures of Leanna. I am passionate about photography, hiking, traveling, and consider myself a foodie. I currently live in Phoenix, AZ and am living that desert life with my fellow saguaros (the cacti).

Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona US

Raised in Texas most of my life (except that one year I was born in the northeast) until the travel bug hit me 10 years ago. Sometime in college, I stumbled on Pinterest and felt inspired with the beauty around the world, I just had to see it for myself. After college, I have been fortunate to have lived in many cities and states around the US:
-Salt Lake City, UT for 3 months
-Roanoke, VA for 3 months
-Greenville, SC for 1.5 years
-Milwaukee, WI for 6 months
-Back to Houston for 2 years
-Phoenix, AZ where I currently live

Living in all these different states allowed me to explore the surrounding areas much easier, but I still craved more - that is what planes are for right? Here are a few of my favorite destinations around the world:
-Countries: Germany, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, Mexico
-US States: California, Utah, Colorado, North Carolina, New York, Arizona

I am an intense person who gets very passionate and excited about things, especially nature. I go absolutely crazy when I am surrounded by beauty – but seriously, have you been to New Zealand? Or the Redwoods in California? What about the Grand Canyon in Arizona? I am always taking pictures, actually I just can’t stop. My boyfriend takes pictures of me taking pictures because he thinks it is so funny, but it just who I am (and I love that about me). My blog will center around sharing landscape photography, as well as highlighting my adventures in different destinations. Here is a quick preview of what is to come:

PS: this woman is all about clean eating (or paleo or real food) – whatever people are calling it these days. I love being the healthiest version of myself that I can, and cooking with fresh real ingredients is a big part of that. Once you start the journey, it is slightly addicting and you start noticing how toxic everything is around you (makeup, perfumes, body products, household cleaners, plastic, sunscreen, etc.). There are plenty of bloggers that do this well so I won’t be spending too much time on this, but I will share some favorites every now and then.

Lastly, I am an engineer so I guess I am pretty nerdy and absolutely love technology – what a time to be alive! Which brings me to cryptocurrency, can we just talk about how revolutionary this tech is? I recently got into it and feel like Andreas A, I am spending 90% of my time trying to learn everything I can about it.
