I'm Kirby Hopper. I was "recruited" to Steemit to provide some content. Or was it to keep me off Facebook? Anyway, I blog about religion, Christianity, and politics. I call myself a Recovering Evangelical. The most common compliment I get for my blog posts and Facebook interaction is, "You make me think." I also get the occasional, "You're a heretic," or, "You're deceived," and, my favorite, by those who don't get what I'm saying, "You just don't get it."

By day I'm a contractor in Central Washington. By night, in addition to blogging, I also do, or have done, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and Web Design, so I might post about that, and other interests which include international travel (that's me and my better half in Prague, Czech Republic). I've taught English As A Second Language at two different community colleges, worked at our state legislature, and still jog at age 59. Hoping to run a marathon before I turn 61. Somewhere in the middle of all that I raised 5 kids.

You really have to engage on here in order to build up your account. We just don’t have that kind of time. None of us blog so I proposed that a bunch of us share an account, mainly to learn the ropes. All but me are skeptics. We’ll see if I can convert them.

Yep, I mentioned it on my intro blog. Full transparency 🙂. I know, it’s different since most on here are individuals. I’m really trying to get them on to Steemit and this is the only way they’ll try.
I think one day we’ll have a contest on “guess the author”.
I'm afraid my degree in Psychology did not prepare me for this LOL!
You’re only talking to one person right now. Lol. I’m sure we will have our different interests and interact with different people. It’s an experiment, so we’ll see!
