Introducing me

Hello to all the Steemians! I am new to this platform and I would like to introduce myself.

I am a Ph.D student in Biomedical Engineering primarily, and I focus on artificial intelligence (AI). I am also a sole proprietor at the same time. I do AI consulting , and I build intelligent systems for whichever client I have!

I have a wide variety of interests, going from technologies, to science, to sustainability to climate change ... so in this channel we will cover quite a lot of different topics on a daily basis. We live in a very fast evolving world. Never before humans have been able to produce that much amount of knowledge. It is actually quite exciting and frightening at the same time, depending on how you look at it. The real questions that we should always ask ourselves is: Are we using that knowledge wisely? Are we using that knowledge to benefit our humanity as a whole? Are we able to transmit that knowledge efficiently? Remember that time is one of our biggest assets, and it takes time and attention to learn a new knowledge. Just something to think about.

Below is a list of topics that will be covered on this channel (Note that this is definitely NOT an exhaustive list):

• Artificial Intelligence

This is my area of focus for my research and for my company. There will be quite a bunch of news on it. I will do my best to update you guys on this subject.

• Sustainability via the Blue economy and Biomimetism

The problem with going green is that it is quite expensive at the moment and sometimes relying on government subsidies, paid by the tax payers. The Blue economy shows that it is quite possible to be sustainable with a lucrative business model. For instance, The Li-Fi (internet with light) which is 200 times faster than the traditional wi-fi will be a game changer. It does not require satellites and user do not have to worry about radiowave radiations which are quite detrimental to our health.

• Health and Nutrition

As a former Biomedical Engineer, I pay a lot of attention to Health and Nutrition. I will cover this topic quite often as well.

• Sport

As I practice and watch sport quite often, I will be covering this topic as well. There will be a lot of focus on soccer.

• Traveling, history and geography

I have traveled quite a lot in the past and I speak quite a few languages so I am pretty comfortable talking about different countries or cultures. Below are some pictures of a great travel that I did to South Korea!
We will also sometimes discuss the impact that some history has today.

So yeah that was a brief overview of what you guys should expect from this channel. This should be a lot of fun!
