This probably should have been my first article...

My name is James Shelley, I'm 21 years old and from the UK! I'm currently in the 2nd year of a Software Engineering degree. I have a great interest in all things tech and love keeping up to date on the cryptocurrency world. I strongly believe that cryptocurrency is going to completely revolutionize the financial system, something that it is already in the process of doing!

Cryptocurrency wise, I have a particular interest in Dogecoin, which is simply based upon a 'meme' of a dog. This interest mainly stems from the fact that the coin currently sits #36 on the total market cap for crypto's - $1.4 billion. That's a lot of money in dogecoin. I hold a small amount in DOGE, BTC, ETH and LTC - just enough to have dipped my toes in the vast cryptocurrency ocean.

I keep a small portfolio of my investments on https://altpocket.io/user/shibe - a great website with a Facebook-style social feed, a brilliantly designed portfolio system and a fantastic user interface.

Now, more about me personally! I currently live in a student house with 5 friends which is a lot of fun. Messy, but fun. Here we are :)

Outside of my uni work and tech interests, I love going out with my friends and having a few pints at the local. I also have recently started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu which I am really enjoying - a great way to keep fit and active while learning a martial art that specialises in grappling (ground fighting - chokes and submissions). I'm about to start getting back into training after I have finished my University exam on Monday.
