Best introduction post I've read so far, probably tied with @dantheman's introduction post.

I can relate to some parts of your childhood, I moved around a lot and had little friends but was never homeschooled. While I realize the benefits of being homeschooled, wouldn't you say your own loneliness and "awkwardness" were a result of being homeschooled?

Being out there, interacting with other kids, making friends and connections is arguably one of the more essential characteristics of school life.. as language, math, science and ethics can be self-taught (or with parent's help) with some discipline

Again, having less interaction isn't necessarily a disadvantage, but to most people - it can be.
