Hello!!

My name is Jofferson, yea super long, shorter version most people call me by is Joff since forever. Definitely did not get enough sleep from that picture. I'm a bit shy at first until I get comfortable and actually smile a lot more than the average person. I was raised in Brooklyn, NY born in Manila, Philippines! Mabuhay! Or Live!

I work as a Respiratory Therapist at Brookdale Hosiptal with a 12-hour NIGHT-shift, 3-4 days a week. Got the love in helping people in more ways than one. I've been in the field for only 5.5 years. Many colleagues would say, you're no longer a rookie once you hit 10 yrs. I'm like WHAT!! LOL. The above picture is a mechanical ventilator where an individual is placed on when they can't breathe on their own. So yes if you go into surgery there's a high chance of being placed on that. Lifesaver!

Currently, I went back to school for an Associates in Mechanical Engineering Tech at City Tech College. Hoping to pursue the Bachelors online because working nights and going to school right after is very tiring. Yes the 2 degrees are complete opposite of each other. The influence of the medical field came from my mom, who's a nurse and 2 classmates from college brought the drive back to the engineering field. Hopefully the 3 of us gain the experience needed to get our own business going.

I enjoy riding a motorcycle for commute or to beautiful scenic areas. As responsibly as possible as I am still alive! I love animals, especially dogs. I enjoy learning new things especially in the tech area. I also take a lot of pictures of food and random stuff. "Knowledge is power" as per Sir Francis Bacon or was it from Bill Nye the science guy. =D
