You are very sweet, thank you so much! It was one or two professors who I thought were amazing, but didn't really like fantasy/fiction writing, but had to teach it, and were tired of reading the same type of stories I'm guessing....It was taken out on me due to the closeness of our relationships. But man, it can really cut a person down. I'm going to follow you, and see if any prompts inspire me. <3
I've been writing for a while, and have a book and stories published, and I can still recall any negative comments on my work. It gets easier over time, for sure, but that's why it's important people giving feedback are constructive. It stings!
