Who am I:

Hi! I am @Jagoob I'm thirty something years old and currently live in Boise. Knowing yourself truly is the greatest challenge one can undertake and a process I feel I have only just begun. I love traveling, conversating, camping, hiking, skiing, making up jokes, irl trolling and going to festivals (where I occasionally dj). More trivially my interests include philosophy, ancient and forgotten history, conspiracies, technology, all types of music and strategy/card games.

My life:

My life has been filled with joy, adventure, debauchery, exploration, challenges, love, and boredom. Hopefully I will get to sharing some stories with you.

My Family:

In the past few years I have grown very much. The biggest change was going from living only for myself to being part of a family. My family now consists of me, my lovely fiance, our pupper Freyja, our whiny dog Gidget, our kitty, the wise cat Sushi, and now little baby Henry (5mos old!).

The Kittehs

Henry is a very healthy and happy baby so far. He is very big for his age and eats booby milk probably like 20 times a day which must be nice. We are trying to give him as healthy and natural of a start as we can and have forgone any unnecessary operations or medications as best we can. Our pediatrician has been totally fine with this approach and is always impressed by Henry's growth charts (he is top 84% weight and top 95% height!).

My goals: Health and Wealth

Becoming part of a family has been a big change for me. Where before I lived a life for today where I had 0 debt and 0 savings and whatever vehicle got me from point a to b. Now we own a home, a safe car, and I am responsible for the debts of my fiance who is now full time caring for our child. I have known about about crypto since BTC was 10$, in fact I once turned town a BTC when offered that or 20$ I was owed :( . While its fruitless to cry about how rich I could be if I bought back then (and theoretically had the patience to hold for years)I am now going to get involved and hopefully build a better future for my family and I.


While I don't care about being rich (though maybe I would if I tried it). I do want to reach a point where all I earn is my own for my family and I. So my goals are to be out of debt in 2 years and have my house payed off in 5. Hopefully with the help of all the wise crypto sages here I can make it happen!

Here are some of the bits of wisdom I like to believe. Forgive me if I fail to practice any of them.

Bliss does not come when you have achieve or find A B or C. Bliss is a natural state that will come to you every so often after you let go of the preconception that A B or C is a prerequisite to find it.

If you try change yourself and fight your nature without understanding it you will struggle endlessly. Accept understand and love who you truly are and you will change.

Everyone will experience anger, pain, loss, depression, annoyance, and resentment. Just as you will experience joy, wonder, love, and hope. These are all natural things, accept them let them come and go. Do not hold onto them and say to yourself things like "I am depressed," it is not something you can "be" only something you can experience for as long as you do.

Not all in life is love and light. As I try to summarize my life so far I couldn't help but to think of those I loved dearly that have departed from here far too young. Many were taken suddenly and unfairly, others just wanted to play in life and were punished severely for what they did. They are forever innocent in my eyes.
