Hello Steemit World!

Hello Steemit,

My name is Iffat Bhuiyan. I am a college student at the University of Madison-Wisconsin, completing my senior year in Sociology and Environmental Studies!

My cousin introduced me to steemit and I was immediately fascinated. I have been looking for a social media platform where I could learn more, rather than mindlessly scroll through a news feed occasionally finding something that peaks my interest. So I am excited to explore the steemit world and see what it has to offer!

I am very interested in social justice, through school I have gotten several opportunities to travel and learn about other communities and the issues they face. So, I hope to share my own stories and advice about places I have traveled to or write about other experiences I have gained during my time at UW-Madison. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more!
