Hello Steemians!!

My name is JuanJo, and thanks to my friend @anamena92 who introduced me!! I am happy to join Steem it as I see it like a great new community concept where you can be heard. I will use Steem it to learn, all different kind of activities, like working with wood and building some furniture, I am just starting to work on this trade, still learning but I know I can provide some useful info from my day to day working on it, and I would like to learn a lot from other Steemians as well, helpful tips are always welcomed. One of the daily activities I like to do is exercise and have a good diet, I like to look for new ways to live healthy, that was actually a pretty hard change from the way I used eat, sleep, etc.
I'm really interested in topics like health, exercise, music, DIY, recipes, travel, that will be also the topics Ill write about and much more.

I’m 25 years old, Mexican and I've been living in Playa del Carmen with my beautiful wife and my tiny dog (Eugenio) who is adopted, he is just the cutest and happiest dog whose been with us for the 3 years, the time that we've been married, but he is actually 9 years old with a puppy soul. We moved to Playa just after wedding, since we arrived the adventure started, we realize this is a place that is in constant moment, everyone is doing something, learning, and trying different activities, that gave me the push I needed it to find myself in what I want to do, so why not try and learn new things. Not everyone is made to do some activities, like just 2 months after moving to playa I broke my ankle trying to take up longboarding again. My ankle broke in 2 parts, so I got 7 screws and 3 months in bed, today I can walk, play soccer without problem but I had to take it easy with somethings but its never stopped me from trying new things.
we are a young couple who enjoy going to the beach, biking, traveling, going to festivals and concerts, we like to cook and learn new recipes, but also try the different restaurants that are around, with yummy desserts (that is one of my weaknesses).

I Work as a Receptionist in a Condo Complex called Aldea Thai, it’s a crazy place, where you see all kinds of weird stuff, like bachelorette parties, spring breakers, and people who just go lose them self’s in the wild nights, sometimes it looks like a freedom place for the guest, it is so interesting to see how people react in this freedom atmosphere that has been created in Playa del Carmen.

I speak English and Spanish, I'm originally from the sleepy Valladolid Yucatan, that is a small place with population of 150 thousand, located 40 minutes away from the famous Areological site of Chichen Itza. I love my hometown it is colorful, colonial, and counts with a wide variety of gastronomical flavors, beautiful destination cenotes (natural pools), and a lot of culture.

I love music all different kind of music, I’m not really a person who can say I hate any genre, I grew up with classic rock like led zeppelin, the doors, but I also love electronic, rock, metal, cumbia, reggae, I just like all sounds, because I believe music is beautiful in its own way. I used to play the drums in a little band with my friends, but at the time has gone, it was really complicated to continue playing, living in apartment with no much space to have the drums set, so I decide to continue with a smaller instrument, I began to learn Cajon Peruano, with really good sounds, but different techniques, there are just so many ways to do what we want just sometimes, we don’t look for other options, I'm open for any recommendations for lessons or techniques, so I can learn more.
I have some projects in process with my wife such as renting our own apartment in Valladolid, before we got married we decide to build our own place to start, but we got an opportunity to move and we decide to take it and just rent out our place on Aribnb, it’s been good but we want to build some more and a hostel, the reason why we want to run a hostel, is because we want to provide people have the real experience of the area, how we live where we go to get the best fresh veggies and fruits, the simple life we have in Valladolid is so cozy and the people just make you feel so warmth and we would like to show the world that at out spot.
