Hi @firepower. Nice to meet you! Thank you for such a warm and encouraging welcome! I'll admit, I have had a rough hate-it-love-it relationship with our friend steemit here. I love reading and it started to take over my life for my first 3 days haha. Luckily, we've resolved all of this and you're absolutely right- I am loving it here! I haven't had a chance to track down too many authors yet but the ones I have crossed paths (waves?) with have been so supportive and motivational.
