Where Does This Awesome Content Come From?

A couple months ago, I started looking up info related to cryptocurrencies and very regularly the best articles I found came from this new "Steemit" website that I had never come across before.

In my lack of attention to detail, I thought Steemit was a personal blog and hadn't even realized that the great content I was reading actually came from a number of different authors. (or maybe it was my prejudice against big "news" type websites that blinded me. I tend to find their posts insipid and lacking actual helpful content).

And then it hit me in the face! "Wait, what?" How does Steemit attract so many talented and interesting people to write for them?! And then I was mind fucked: "Steemit uses blockchain technology to reward content and activity, and people are loving this!!"

So here I am, I want to be a part of this community and movement. I am nowhere near as talented or interesting as many Steemers here are, but I am so excited and,.. dare I say,... in love with Steemit.
