My name is Sally Benton-Tarry.
I am a lady of mature years making her first ever 'full' post. I have been a member for only a couple of weeks - I was approved on the 10.02.2018 - sorry no picture I do not even know how to do that.
I joined SteemIt for two main reasons and they are my interest in cryptocurrencies and a desire to have an outlet for some of my writing projects - which I hope will interest members.
So what about me then.

English, living in Wales
Self-employed
Never married
Not a clue how to add photos or use this Markdown. I am writing this directly into the post box because I know, no difference. I am very low tech and need to learn.
Rather a private person - not even at TV
I love to watch the weather unfold from my bay window in Wales - if it says a storm is coming from the west I can go and watch it arrive!
My passion, well trains, trains and more trains - also animals and a good book, of which I have nearly 1,000 hard copy books at home. I love Stephen King, James Herbert (RIP), Andrew Martin and Edward Marston.
From my childhood, it was The Incredible Journey by Shiela Burnford and more recently Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, Brother Surgeons by Garet Rogers and Cash McCall by Cameron Hawley, when I drafted this out there were four other railway books on this list, but I guess you would think that I was going on a bit if I listed those too!
I do not watch movies in the same way most people do, but I do have a favourite DVD and that is The Titfield Thunderbolt, an Ealing Comedy about the start of the heritage railway movement in the UK.
Finally, I am sorry you will all think this is very plain. This is a mountain to climb for anyone who can just about send an email and does not use social media and to be honest right now feel rather exposed as I have never done anything like this before.
I didn't want to wait any longer before doing this post and I know it is plain and boring to most of you. I will learn and give real value I promise.
