Hello Hello!

My name is Brandon (as the title suggests!) and I'm brand-spanking-new to Steemit.com

I'm a tough one to summarize, but here's a quick rundown:

I'm a full-time stay-at-home dad (wow, the dash usage..), a small business owner, and tomato farmer. I've got a gorgeous wife & two beautiful children; son (3 and a half) and a daughter (age 2). I love to learn and teach. I am a creative being that is compelled, almost by obligation, to create. I thrive on bringing ideas, concepts, and all sorts of things to life. I've spent much of my life exploring my abilities and seeking new ways to fulfill my spirit. 

I guess you could say I'm a 'man of many hats'

I've worked in a spectrum of fields that include: Graphic Design, Photography, Media & Web Design Projects, Construction, Interior & Exterior Sign installations, Landscape Design, Commercial Interior/ Exterior Design, Horticulture & Landscape Specialist, Creative Marketing Consulting, Logo Design, Musician. I do what I do because I do it well. I tend not to do things that I'm no good at. If I have questions, I seek answers. I hate to wonder too long; better to know or at least spend sleepless nights trying to find out. I love humor and laughing; when things don't work out (and they won't from time to time) just laugh. A person can't laugh enough. 

I'm Here to Learn, Grow, and Share Knowledge 

 

I am constantly seeking knowledge and I appreciate others that seek it as well. Here is a brief list of my areas of 'strength' below. It is simply to let the community know that I'm here to help out and I'd be happy to share my knowledge, resources, and helpful links to solve problems & answer questions that fellow users here might have. I'm not claiming to be a guru, but I do know how to use google search like a boss.

My Areas of Knowledge/ Expertise Include:

• DESIGN - graphic design, illustration, interior/ exterior, landscape/ hardscapes, web media, logo/ branding
• PLANTS - vast range of plants (from flowers, vegetables, fruits & even cannabis!), plant health, helpful resources, gardening, farming, plant deficiencies & diagnosis, plant care, residential & commercial planting operations,
• RESEARCH - info gathering, formatting, presenting information, infographics, composing research 
• MEDIA - writing, music/ songwriting, illustration, photography
• CONSTRUCTION - new model residential construction, residential/commercial reconstruction, painting, carpentry, home repair

I told ya I had a lot of hats ;) Not to toot my own horn (toot toot), but I truly have a vast range of experience to draw from and I'd love to share that with people. After all, that's why I'm here. I believe that everyone, everywhere has the right to be free and happy. That's the way life should be.
