I am GEUMEUM, a musician, sound artist, and an audio-visual creator. (+ part-time translator)

I create art which experiments on structure, materiality, and perception of the experience that we call music. My work builds itself up on a fundamental idea: that which we perceive as musical and as non-musical present no clear distinction, much like our ideas of the concrete and the abstract are not as clear-cut as we'd like to think. Much like the traditional currency and crypto-currency, come to think of it.

The idea revolves around the idea of boundary, and the malleability of it.
