Hello everyone. My name is David (@further). I am an appreciator of music, art, science, tech, and philosophy among other things.
I am currently involved in two projects which I will be introducing here on Steemit.
The first of which is the Open Benefit Project. Started in August of 2015 this project is a experimental benefit distribution program designed to implement and expand upon the idea of an “Unconditional Basic Income”. This type of project has the potential to make a difference in peoples lives and I believe the value distribution system of Steemit can be an integral part of the growth and evolution of this project.
The second is Soul Reflector Music. This business started in 2014 with me selling vinyl records out of my garage. We moved to a small location in California and also started participating in local record shows. Having gone through some changes we started selling solely online. After learning about Steemit I believe this platform may be the start a new and interesting transformation of this venture. I plan to have vinyl record giveaways on a regular basis. Each post will be a source of information about a particular music release, with some involving a record giveaway. The revenue generated from these posts will go to funding the giveaways and maybe some other fun stuff.

“Unconditional Basic Income” is great idea which is hopefully posible in future. But there are to many things that need to change before humanity could benefit from it. I would call it mindset change that would put education in first plan and in todays society education is one of the least important things in minds of people.
