Hello Steemians!
I am an avid fan of technological advances, in many fields; my day I perform Cyber Security Analysis for a global PLC -- by weekend, I am under my car -- or putting laps on a track some where [this includes Karting, petrol and electric]. I am a first generation American citizen, and WOW -- that's all I'll say for now about where American has gone in the past 15 years.
I am here because I am fed up with the Internet Ghettos that have been built up over the past 5 years. I was bitten by the Bitcoin bug in 2011, started mining in 2012 through 2014 -- through that time I began to realize there was much more going on behind the scenes that the MSM were not covering properly: Interventionist wars, the S-election process, the inverse-bubbles in precious metals vs the stock market, The FED itself, and the outrageous media biases which continue to lead many astray [I could ramble on , but I'll reel it in].
I am hopeful for the future as it seems with every heavy handed censorship tactic is employed by the Powers That Shouldn't Be, people react across the internet and being creating the new systems to make the old ones irrelevant -- like Steemit, BitTorrent, and the long list of other innovations in freedom and information sharing.
