Hey Steemit! Let me introduce myself

I'll start by giving a short introduction here, apologies if I mess up any formatting or make rookie mistakes when posting this as I am very new to this platform. I am a college student from the US studying international business abroad in Hong Kong. During this time, I have had a substantial amount of change going on in my life and the way I think about things. I am someone who values very polished and professional work, but as part of that aspect of my personality, I find myself often writing a large volume of personal notes and thinking about different projects that I essentially share with no one or do nothing about. After reading a variety of articles on this site, I think it is a great platform for sharing many of these ideas in a bit of a stream-of-consciousness manner.

In an effort to give this endeavor some kind of structure, I suppose I can start by laying out some of my interests:

My largest passions, are business, technology, travel, and video production. I have always been fascinated by all four of these things, and in some sense it is my goal in life to ultimately find myself doing some element of all of these things at some point. As a result, hopefully if I can stick with any consistent kind of posting pattern, I will be combining various elements of these topics into posts that other people may find interesting.

In regard to business, I am currently studying it as my major (which is technically a triple major in International Business, Marketing, and Global Supply Chain Management) but I have also started my own business and am in the process of starting another. The first one was a cellphone repair business, and although it made good money, I largely had to leave it behind when studying abroad because most of the equipment isn't terribly mobile. My current business is focused on dropshipping travel-related goods because I still would like to work for myself, but I want to do so in a way where I can keep doing it wherever I am. In regard to postings, I would be happy to make content related to these topics or just technology and remote working in general.

When it comes to travel, I have been to Mainland China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines with plans to go to many more places. I also do my best to document all these trips and have posted several of the videos to Youtube but I also have a lot of other footage I've never posted that I think could be interesting in smaller bits. I am also happy to discuss these things or post more in depth based on whatever direction it goes I suppose.

If you read all of this, I appreciate your interest in my story and welcome ideas for more posts in the future!
