Hey Firepower- thank you so much for your warm welcome! Your response got me checking your posts out and I was so impressed! Wow- you are so inspirational! I would really be interested in knowing more about how you tapped into that internal “spark” that ignited your flame. As I mentioned in my introductory post, I am a practicing psychotherapist. As such, I am always seeking to help people tap into their inner resources and find strength, motivation, inspiration, etc. Interestingly, in the course of my years of practicing, I have worked with numerous Holocaust survivors. While that population was by no means a specialty of mine, there were some things I learned from our work, which were particularly intriguing to me. Most notable, was the fact that the majority of people who had survived the seemingly unsurvivable, actually went on to thrive! These people possessed what I would refer to as the “X” factor, that special ingredient, or “spark” that kept them going; the motivation to persevere. I have often wondered how one could “harness” this ingredient, & help others find it inside of themselves. I look forward to learning more from your posts and teachings, & will eagerly pass along what I learn, to my patients. Although I am new to this community, I have begun to share about it with all of my patients, in the hopes that so many people will benefit each other! Thanks again for introducing yourself, & I will certainly resteem
