Looks like you would indeed have some interesting things to write about, and Hong-Kong is an amazing place as far as I've heard, I'm sure going to visit it at some point.
But have you already got an y specific ideas on what to write about, are you planning any kind of post series perhaps?
I've also just recently joined Steemit myself and I find the community to be really chill for the most part, however I guess you won't really be into the stuff I post about :) it's about gaming

I think I would like to try knowing more about gaming although I dunno much about it yet! It sounds to be popular these days! :)
