The Nation is not real news, that's suspicious already. It's real controlled opposition. A Hillary bot? Get real. The mass media - almost all public opinion - is controlled by the ruling elites; there's no indication you'd be different, but I will support you if you are. The people have been fooled 1,000,000 times before - politicians, officials, news/media, they always promise they're anti-Establishment. Disappointingly, an examination behind the scenes of many media outlets such as ”Democracy Now!” [and The Nation] reveal that they are controlled by the same global elite who control all major mainstream news sources. It is explained that involvement of essentially the entire political establishment in funding major ”alternative” media insures that such outlets will be ”more bark than bite” and be ”the kind of 'opposition' that the ruling elite can tolerate and live with.” That's called controlled opposition.
I haven't looked at this alternative-media stuff for years, but the title/conclusion is deliberately misleading: These media sources are leftist, what they are is phony anti-Communist And you'll notice, ahem, The Nation is one of the media outlets illustrated in the flowchart.
As I noted, I'm kind of rusty about these older, so called, "alternative media", but I think Feldman/Salter's deliberate illogic is: These media outlets are funded by the big, capitalist foundations, so therefore, they must be phony leftist/Communist; when in fact the big foundations - Rockefeller, Carnegie, Ford, Soros, MacArthur, etc. - represent monopoly capitalism, which has the same goals as/works together with Communism (international socialism/liberalism/progressivism) to conquer, enslave and rule the world:

I became aware of the New World Order after I read Feldman's articles, I have to review them. But Bob Feldman, on his blog, had a link to the World Socialist Web, it may be why his and Brian Salter's conclusion Phony Leftist, was deliberately misleading. As Gary Allen said, the way to world Communism is through world socialism.
