On the stage I introduce myself as ELAmental but my friends call me Sass. I am a conscious emcee with the intent of spreading wisdom for healing mankind and the Earth. My messages are often abstract and indirect, which tends to make people think more about what is said, but is also generally my style of writing and delivery. Most of my lyrics come to me through intuitive practices and meditations of sorts. My best art is formed when I am isolated from all external forces and energy, although sometimes external pressure pushes me to write great content as well, but in a very different way. So I guess you could say I am versatile in my creative methods. Adaption should be the primary protocol for all that wish to evolve.
I am on the verge of releasing my debut album: The Hex Wrecker, which is currently in the final stages of editing, and about to be mixed and mastered. This album will be free for download online when released despite the fact that I will be paying close to $1000 USD for mixing/mastering alone.
The main theme of my first album surrounds the concepts of disrupting the plans of darkness, wrecking hexes, killing curses, and banishing all bad Ju Ju. I also advocate cannabis hard in this album, constantly promoting the Cannabis culture. I am even including a DJ Quik tribute track entitled Smoke a Big Blunt, which digs deep into the cannabis lifestyle.
I plan on throwing a record release party in Portland, OR shortly after my first album releases online. I will only be suggesting donations at the door to pay for expenses related to throwing the event, and will not be attempting to make a financial profit in this instance. If you don't have anything to donate then you are of course still invited to come see my show for free. I want as many people to experience my music as possible without the obstacle of a dollar figure standing in the way.

My music is FREE, as all music should be. Think about that, how can one make music that is free when charging for it? I don't want my music locked in a cage that can only be opened with dollar figured keys. Music can never truly fly free with financial chains locking it to the ground.

In addition to being an emcee, I am also a cannabis farmer and wire wrap jeweler (I rap in hip hop, wrap jewelry, and wrap blunts, that is correct... triple (w)rapin'). Just like with my music, my methods for wire wrapping come to me intuitively. I form my energy in wire when I feel the universe is pulling me to do a particular design or structural necessity, it all comes to me on the go. When I am wrapping wire around other wire and gems, I send mental visual projections from my minds eye into the wire, thinking and visualizing words like: love, friendship, belonging, balance, freedom, peace, harmony, wisdom, and happiness. I also will mentally compose enchantments along the lines of:
“Allow the wearer of the amulet to permanently posses the power of happiness and balance. This effect shall take hold in permanence from wearing this amulet only once, and the wearer will forever wield its energy. Allow the positive energy of this amulet to become one with all who wear it.”
&
”Please release these elements of creation from all negative energy, and bless it with only healing light, love, and positive energy. Thank you for this blessing we are about to receive, all we have revived in the past, and all we will receive in the future. Thank you for this day, my friends and family, this life, and this existence”
I visualize the words I am thinking, like these, in text form projecting outward from my third eye into the bending of the metal as I create the talisman. I have made hundreds of amulets to date and am now exclusively working with silver due to its extremely high metaphysical value and severely undervalued price.
Cannabis plays a heavy role in my life as well, which also ties into what I do with hip hip and jewelry. I have worked and volunteered in the Cannabis industry for 4 years now, since I moved from Virginia to Oregon. Growing cannabis can be extremely hectic and stressful at times. There are often long work days and weeks, sometimes working from sunrise to sunset, 7 days a week, in the hottest days of summer.
Despite its obstacles, I am grateful to work in an industry that deals with such a divine plant medicine. It is always a great feeling knowing how many people's lives you are improving by providing high quality viable medicine. This is true for all the hands our flowers pass through after we crop, right down to the person who ends up consuming it.
In fact some of the medical patients we grow for are terminal cancer patients or have other serious ailments. These patients have a huge cardboard box full of pharmaceutical prescriptions they are usually required to take to live and feel semi-normal. When these legitimately ill patients receive the cannabis flowers we donate to them every year, they literally throw that huge box of pills in the dumpster the second our flowers come through the door. They say they do this because the cannabis works much better for improving their health and quality of life than all the pharmaceuticals they take combined, with none of the negative effects, or what some would call “side effects”. The cannabis literally replaces ALL of their medications. It is a great feeling to know I have a part in helping very sick people feel better, and getting them to dispose of their pharma's is an extremely awesome added bonus!
It is the purpose of all humans to help, inspire, be there for each other, and unite to form a more perfect synergism with ourselves and our planet Earth. I seek to lead by example in this manner, and spread the wisdom of truth as far as it can reach.
The only thing in life that we truly have control over is ourselves, so... CONTROL YOURSELF! Pick up trash instead of littering, don't support the disposable fashion industry, re-use what we already have, eat a lot of vegetables, don't get down with music that ignorantly promotes violence, objectifies women, and idolizes money and ego. Get down off your bad self, and rise up to who you are meant to be. My meditation of wealth is getting closer with my true self – check it – my religion is my decision to be better in time, and make progressive steps to be my best and put it to rhyme!
Blessings my brothers & sisters, if you ever wonder why we are here, the great question of life, remember that the answer is simple... we are here for each other, with the Earth being a part of us. Mother Earth is here for us too, so let's be there for her as well. Peace & Love for all days.
p.s. - I will have to make an Introduce yourself part 2 in the future. There is way to much to my life to contain it all in one post. This post only encompasses some of the major interests in my life.
Quick side notes of recent events: Oregon Eclipse Gathering (Symbiosis), #anarchapulco, & #anarchaforko were life changers, highly recommended. All these pictures are origionals taken by either myself or @hempress.

I made a Steemit account back in 2016 but didn't have enough time to start posting content until early Febuary of this year (2018). My activity on Steemit has been rising ever since I started, and my hope is that I can promote and fund my music through Steem. First however, I am going to pour all of my earnings into Steem Power until my SP gets higher.
A personal thank you to everyone who inspired me to get involved with Steemit, and to all the wonderful people who I have met along the way. Let me know if I left you out: @kennyskitchen, @alchemage, @hempress, @brutledge, @uoslavery, @johnnyhurley, @truniversal, @bruceb, @mwolfe13, @flauwy, @dannyquest, @erikaharris, @adamkokesh, @lily-da-vine, @geliquasjourney, @mckenzie259, @wearechange-co, @terrybrock, @bonitaoregon, @verenasage, @bitcoinjudas, @leecamp, and of course @dantheman.
My next post, which will quickly follow this one, will be an explanation of my emcee tag: ELAmental.
Stay tuned - into the right frequencies.
Rocky Mountain High from Colorado! Keep growing green! 🍀

Freedom!
/FF
Freedom indeed. Thank you for your comment. You have to work hard to obtain freedom in this world, and not be afraid to pursue your passions even if it bankrupts you over and over. Keep that in mind. Even freedom has its price, it probably shouldn't though. Blessings!
If it has a price it ain't FREEdom!
lol
If it has a price, then it aint free, but freedom itself usually has a price. "Freedom isn't really free at all...and often comes at the highest of costs."
Yeah, hippies have worked hard to push the boundaries, norms and laws in your neck of the woods... Many have gotten so stoned in this great battlefield that now their minds are lost, forever! 👍 😎
But now you have that freedom, be grateful not all places do!
And it can disappear just as fast as it came... 😎 😝
True enough, I love a good philosophical debate. Thanks for the insightful lines buddy. Freedom is a fickle thing, I have worked hard for the freedom I have, but still have a lot of responsibilities. I willingly choose to take on those responsibilities though, so I still had the freedom to choose this path. I had to go far out of my way to find the life I was seeking. I thank the universe that I am able to continue forming it. Blessings friend.
Thank you my friend, Blessings!!!
End the drug war now!
at LEAST end the weed war right? I think we are winning on that front anyway at this point. thanks for checking out my article!
Excited to hear your album brother! I hope steem provides another way to monetize your work. I am also a cannabis advocate and I work at an indoor facility here in AZ. I love being part of the movement, and helping the sick and afflicted. We have an awesome cannabis community here on steemit, and i think your music and art will bring more powerful energy to the blockchain. Welcome to the platform, ill be following!
Thank you for your support, and playing your role in the cannabis community as well. I am looking forward to experiencing more of Steemit and getting my album on here through D-Sound. Do you have a discord server?
I'm on discord I don't have my own server. I'm dajohns1420 same as steemit
Welcome friend.
Let's hang out and blaze it up soon!
word. I am back in P.land now. Hit me up whenever.
Sent you a message on discord...
Great blog post! Upvoted and Followed.
yo dude, kudoos for the lifestyle and best of luck with the release party and promotion of your new album. I also rap & do poetry in New Orleans and Mexico City. If you ever tour, give me a holler and I can help you set up a show or two in the Crescent City. I was wondering if you're planning to release any of your music here on Steemit? I'm new to the platform as well, so I've mainly been posting articles and such... but I def want to connect with more MC's a musicians and I think this could be a good platform to build a national and maybe global community of lyricists. I'm gonna check out your music, and I'm not really trying to self promote but you said your writing is kinda of abstract and philosophical so i thought you my dig this track from first album Love 'n' Travel. https://soundcloud.com/natelost/alien-come-home-funk-pt-1?in=natelost/sets/love-n-travel Follow me back if ya dig and let's build. Cheers bruhtha.
I will be releasing my album on Dtube among other places, which will turn into a Steemit post, maybe several posts. If I am ever planning on coming to that part of the country I will def. hit u up to do a show. I like the song you linked me to, i thought i was abstract lol. Good job homie, keep up with your passion!
wow, amazing mate! I love seeing those amazing nice outdoors.. what fruits!! I think (because of the photos) that the way you cultivated those cannabis plants is such the best one. Not using those chemicals. Love it. I give you my support, and i alsoLOVE how much people here in steem it love de cannabis movement!!!
All organic nutrients and soil. We never use chems in our food. Much love!
Beautiful
Thank you sir.
Welcome
I think this is the longest introduction post I ever read. You rocked with your creativity and farming skills. I like the jewellery you are making. I am sure most of the readers might overlook its beauty because they'd get distracted by the photos on your farm. Fair enough! Enjoy your Steemit journey!
lol, i had to choose an order, hand made jewlery or cannabis first, which is more of a popular topic? id say its a close race. I am glad you enjoyed my post, as long as it is, it still did not encompass everything in my life, and I will have to do a part 2 in the future. I want to talk more about the area I live in Oregon and the great people and places i have come to know here. Blessings my friend.
Great works! Looking forward to your farm updates... :)
Thank you buddy. I have many more farm posts to come. Cloning and making medicated coconut oil will be next up i am thinking.
Your post is the first I saw after getting up. Reading your post made me smile ^^ you live such a free life. I think I can learn a lot from you. Thanks a lot for sharing all of this elamental. ♡ First I thought I would keep myself a bit on the downlow on steemit but Fck that! ^^ I'll put it all out there too. You're very inspiring. Keep up the good work. LOVE LOE
Right on homegirl! I am sooo happy I inspired you, inspiring people is the main reason I do the things I do. As far as putting it all out there, I know I am not doing anything wrong. Also everything I do with plants is registered and carded with the Oregon Medical Marijuana Progrmam (OMMP), so the way I see it, I dont have anything to hide. Therefore I may as well share in my wealth of experience and wisdom. I look forward to seeing you become more active in the Steem community, I am sure you have some amazing things to share. Blessings sister <3
Great blog post! Upvoted and Followed.
What its like to live in a place where access to a plant /medicine is not restricted..ive allways longed to be able to farm my own crops in the ways your pictures show..its totally different over here in england! Seems like your doing amazing things for the universe....its all underground over here atm..ill try and use my blog to show you the highs and lows of the crazy cannabis/drug laws in place over here .
This is a photo of some heavy handed policing at our lateat peaceful protest outside paliment this year ..have a great day #staydanky
On the east coast of the U.S., especially where I am originally from in Virginia, cannabis is prohibited and the laws are strictly enforced. Mostly only on the West coast of the U.S. is it tolerated. Each states varies with its cannabis laws, but I will say ever since I moved from VA to OR, my life has improved in almost every way, and it just keeps getting better. Life gets hard sometimes for everybody no matter where you are, but life in Oregon is always magical for me. I hope you find your way to a more enlightened area as I did. Blessings my friend.
its certainly starting to get better now I've changed my mind-set and location, which I'm very grateful for. society goads you to fall in line and not think for yourself. when you finally start to appreciate magical things happen. i love the wire wrapping btw the all seeing eye is super cool. have a good one dude #staydanky
It is actually is a glass cat's eye. It also glows in the dark. Thank you for all your support!
How much to post the cats eye piece to the uk dude ?
That one had Brazilian emerald and tanzanite. I sold that one a few years ago. Idk if I can get those glass eyes anymore. If I can figure out how to get the glass cut correctly, I believe I can make that part myself.
Yes Brother!! So stoked you are on here. I have been waiting on my tribe. Growers community!! What an amazing adventure you have been on! Love that you are into recording music too, I have the same Scarlett audio interface!! I look forward to many interactions with you brother. See you on the journey!! I just noticed your acct value is $420!!
yeaaaaa 420 value all day lol. Thanks for your support brother, #TribeSteemUp is here.
Amazing intro post brother! thank you for your positivity! I look forward to your album and supporting however I can...
Thank you for your support and positivity! You are greatly appreciated! I remember your intro post being pretty dope as well. Are you back in P.land now or still traveling?
Sweet and Welcome look forward to seeing more posts about the organic grows up North :) Looks so Lush compared to So-Cal lol
Oregon growers usually take great pride in their work. Lots of quality up here :-)
hah so True . Ive seen the godzilla bushes you guys grow up there----but the south is catching up quickly lots less mold down here :P
Yes it is true mold can be a big issue for a lot of growers in the fall here. However, if everything you plant outside are early finishers, and you light dep everything else, you can avoid the unnecessary mold losses of Croptober by simply finishing before then. Then moisture and rain are no longer factors for your outdoor ladies: ZERO LOSS. Also light deping your plants is the closest quality to indoor you can get growing outside in my experience. It is hard to tell the difference sometimes. And then the added bonus of potential thieves expecting you to finish later... and your gone by the time they would arrive. Just great all the way around.
Hell of a growing operation you have there!
gracias amigo, team effort.
Great post tnx for sharing I just upvoted.
steemit all the way.
