RE: 45 days into Steemit and positively addicted: A Dreamers intro

Hi Scott thanks for reading my post. I appreciate it. I looked at your blog and I'll share my opinion with you. I'm only 45 days in so take it with a grain of salt.
The first thing that stood out to me is that building relationships in a community requires interactions with the people in it. When you first start you're a community of one. Commenting and resteeming is appreciated by people and usually they'll do the same.
2nd is people won't see your post if you haven't made any. Forgive me for saying but you have two post and one is eight days old. It doesn't profit anyone to interact with your blog. I personally am weary of clicking on outside links posted from people I haven't interacted with. Especially when there's no history on their account. I wanted to click on your Robin hood trading but I didn't know what it was. I was sketched out by it. Til a friend sent me the same link. Also your name is Scott but your link is addressed to Mike.
It doesn't take much to post, a silly original meme or original picture. Also contest are a great way to meet people, and earn money that is difficult to earn when you start. There are a lot of great communities that'll help you get recognition. #minnowsupport #whalepower #mydailypost are a few. The are also several very helpful bots like @drotto @lovejuice and @resteembot. All very cool and designed to help newbies like us. I feel that I should do for others what hope they'd do for me. If you really want to move ahead you'll find that people are more then willing to help someone who's helping others, just don't get dishearted. It's frustrating when your post doesn't get recognition, but you learn as you good. I learned to study other members post. I'd look at the things they did with their post and test it out. Right now I just happen catch a wave and I'm riding it as long as it'll let me. Good luck my friend. :)
