the longest phone conversation i ever had in my life, was with a stranger.

Today i broke two personal records, first was the longest blog post i made and longest phone conversation i had with anyone
well what better way to introduce myself than describing my day, so here is it in a nutshell:

The day started as a normal day with my cup of espresso, then opening coinmarketcap to see the latest prices while sipping my coffee, i moved on to play a bit with my daughter for a while before going to the kitchen and making a fat but healthy English breakfast.

4:30 pm now (i woke up at 2:30pm by the way) my daughter wants to go out and play in FunCity (indoor play ground for kids) its only 1 minute drive from home. I did not walk cause if you try to walk in Dubai for 5 mins, you will probably end us as toast before reaching your destination.

7:00 pm now we are back from FunCity, i thought i will go for a swim since the sun is gone and i will not melt in the pool. then the phone rings, my cousin @ziixyon (he joined steemit less than a week ago) wants to come home for a coffee, cancelled the swimming plan and decided to see my cousin. maybe i will go to the gym after he leaves.

7:30 pm, i am having (what normal people consider a dinner) lunch with my mom, brother and sister, playing with cat for a while and play some more with my daughter.

8:30 pm @ziixyon is here, talked about cryptos, ethereum, steemit, ICOs and then he moved to ask me who is @cheetah? and should he be worried? his first question was i had a comment from someone called @cheetah, should i be worried? I moved on to make a joke and tell him if you see @cheetah you better run and run quick cause if he catches you, you will be doomed. and then i had to explain to him what his job and why its good to have him around. i did learn the hard way after all.

9:30 pm i am still with @ziixyon and now i am trying to explain to him, if you are scared from @cheetah, wait till you get a visit from @steemclearners, if cheetah upvotes your post, then @steemcleaners will send you to oblivion. and that is the last name you want to see in the comment section of your post.

10: 30 pm a friend of mine called, and he is near by my home. i told him to come for coffee and so he did. I barely mentioned the name steemit to him in the morning (actually it was 3:30pm). to my surprise he already manage to open an account, convinced his wife and probably another friend to ditch facebook and join this platform. Abed is here and we having some coffee, talked about different stuff but they mainly talked about Crypto since they consider me an expert in this subject which i am not of course but trying my best to learn.

11:30 pm my cousin and Abed are gone and i made my second post on steemit for the day about Burger king accepting bitcoin in Russia.

12:30 am, checked one more time on coinmarketcap, prices are going up, feels good about my portfolio. then moved to bittrex to make my daily flippening and then moved on.

1:00 am, a stranger called (he sounds respectful) he went to introduce himself and how he got my number. and then he moved to ask me the last thing i was expecting. our convesation was like this as per what i recall:

Caller: I am interested about this new technology called Bitcoin and someone said you are the right guy to talk to.
Me: well i know some stuff, what do you want to know?
Caller: i think i am too late to invest in Bitcoin, its 2300USD
Me: it is actually 2560 USD.
Caller: yesterday it was 2300
Me: (Refresh coinmarketcap) it is 2575 USD
Caller: you just told me it 2560 USD
Me: well i don't decide the price, that is the last price now
Caller: i heard about something called litecoin and ethermium
Me: its called Ethereum
caller: do you think i should buy them, as litecoin is at 30 USD and Ethereum is at 200USD
Me: Litecoin cost about 42 USD now and ethereum is 320 USD
Caller: but i checked the prices just yesterday
Me: i am checking the prices right now.
Caller: what do you think about those?
Me: i think they are solid coins, went on to ask him do you really know what a Bitcoin is? or ethereum?
Caller: it is money, like digital money and going up in price.
Me: you are almost right, but its more than money....talk for 10mins non stop about what bitcoin is, how it is a new technology that can really change so many things in our life and how decentralize it is. what does decentralization mean and so on.
Caller: so you think i should buy litecoin and ethereum as they are cheap and bitcoin is expensive?
Me: well do you know what was the price of Litecoin and Ethereum at the begining of this year?
Caller: no,
Me: well Ethereum is up by 4000% percent alreay from the January, and Litecoin was at around 4 USD, so they are not really cheap.
Caller: where should i start looking for all the information i need to learn?
Me: coinmarketcap.com, bitcointalk.org, steemit.com, youtube and went on to explain what is steemit?
Me: waiting and hearing the keyboard stokes opening the pages
Caller: so which one should i buy?
Me: that i can't tell you, you should do some proper reading about the subject before investing.
Caller: i really want to invest (FOMO)
Me: listen, take your time to learn about the technology, go to youtube, search each project of those. download some wallets, get familiar with this technology, cause if you just invest like this without knowing what are getting into, you will probably end up loosing your money.
Caller: where do you think i should start?
me: youtube and steemit, you will get a lot of beginners guides in youtube and engage with the community in steemit as they will answer any question you have about a specific project.
the conversation went on and on and on, and then i decided to meet him in person to better guide him.
turned out he is Restaurant Chef here in Dubai, so he invited me for some free food, i tried my best to hide my emotions about the free food thing, but i was more like this:
