Not sure about the image upload issue. I always use PeakD and I never have any problems. As for gaining traction, my best advice is to comment on other peoples blogs as often as you can. Joining some Hive discord servers could be beneficial too. Remaining consistent with your activity is the most important thing. Check out all of the different communities and find the ones that you vibe with most.
