how do I upload a profile pic on steemit? I used a url from my facebook but it is not displaying....
Is your URL from facebook one that anybody can access or does it require to be authenticated to facebook in order to access? If it requires authentication it won't work. You can always try using a resource like urlquery.net as a test to see if an external site can fetch the URL you are trying to specify.
