I've checked out D.Tube a little bit. I think I'll end up creating an account this weekend.
What's the difference between busy.org versus steemit?
Also, would you recommend investing in steem or steem power?

Wow, how cool! I'm using busy right now and I'm enjoying the features you mentioned. If I'm just logging in for a quick browse, it is much more efficient. Are there any implications for using the "thumbs down" feature on posts?
I'll probably invest once I spend a little bit more time on this platform. I have a pretty good feeling about it though :) I'm hoping to encourage more people to join!

Thank you for your guidance!!

Glad you were able to check it out. I prefer the layout and features of Busy more, but SteemIt has a dark theme that I love. I can't stand all white backgrounds. The multiple websites that load the Steem Blockchain's content is one of the things that keeps the Steem ecosystem from being censored or taken down. Even if someone is able to take down SteemIt's servers, we could all still simply login on a different front end.

The "Thumbs down" feature on busy is equal to "flagging" on Steemit. That is simply a down vote that can make posts earn less and also have less visibility. One of the jobs of being a quality curator is flagging Spam posts and comments, but I personally don't flag users who have a large amount of Steem Power due to the potential of them retaliating and flagging me back.

Yeah invest whenever you feel ready, and until then simply invest your content and your time :). This platform has the potential to really be amazing if we can get more and more of our network converted here.

You can login to DTube, Steemit, and Busy all with the same username and password, so there is no need to create another account. The difference between busy and steemit is simply the design of the layout and certain features, but the content is the same on both. For example, busy has a more detailed notification feature and allows you to play videos in ur feed instead of opening up the article.

I cant give finanvial advise. However, I do think Steem is at a good price right now. If you just buy STEEM you only benefit if the price increases, but you can withdraw STEEM at anypoint. If you convert your STEEM to STEEM POWER you can benefit from both a potential price increase and it makes your vote worth more. The only downside is that you cant withdrawal all of your STEEM POWER at once; when you want to withdrawal your steem power you can only withdrawal a certain percentage every 7 days. Basically if you plan to be actively using the social media aspect longterm you will make more money by having STEEM POWER compared to STEEM.
