Welcome to Steemit @noperope. It's funny how we go through our own personal stages of denial. And yes, this is so much more than gaming, so much so that I'm now a "gamer" in the true sense of the word. First with Poloniex exchange since 2015, which I likened to five level chess...which I've never played above but one level.

Then here a few weeks ago. Steemit is a game of infinite levels, imo, and a much more interactive game. Enjoy your journey here...and your writing is fine.
