"My best friend and Steemit" Warning: This post may make you think!

I am a traditional reader, like the books, they are my best friends. I like the smell of the paper, to feel the weight of the book in the hands and especially the meaning of those characters printed on paper that convey all kinds of information and knowledge, which are perpetuated.

The Steemit brings a plurality of grouped subjects in an interesting virtual platform to compare with a real library, with several authors, diversity issues, creativity and originality.

No smell of paper, without the weight of the book in his hands, but not with quality material, a virtual world with movement and interaction mechanisms.

Suddenly I remembered that Alan Turing during and after World War II worked for the government of England developing projects, including one of the first projects to a computer with a stored program today with innovations, our computers. But this episode contains an interesting feature: Alan Turing was homosexual, which resulted in a criminal case in 1952, because homosexual acts were illegal in the UK at the time, and he accepted treatment with female hormones and chemical castration as an alternative to prison subsequently committed suicide.

With so many technological innovations homophobia continues, by the way, the only present innovations are in their forms of expression that every day, paradoxically, is more decadent.

We must think!

Film Tip: "The Imitation Game" is a historical thriller released in 2014. The film is a biopic of English cryptanalyst Alan Turing, loosely based on the book Alan Turing: The Enigma Andrew Hodges.
