Hello Steemit! Seoul to Berlin - 1.5 years old Creative Creature ; 1.5살의 창조적 피조물 (Eng/한글)

Believe it or not, I am a shy person. No, I was.
I always liked taking pictures, but I was used to be behind of the camera.
Then what is this kind of photos?

Yes, Something changed.
It's more like totally Re-born.
Sometimes people ask me 'how old are you?'
Then I answer I'm 1.5 years old.
It has been 1.5 years since I moved from Seoul to Berlin.

I've studied Art history and Anthropology in Korea.
And worked in an Educational broadcasting system for children contents.
As I grew older, I was embarrassed to make and show my Artworks.

I fell in love with Berlin while I quit the company and traveled.
This city set me free from the other's judgment.
Surely I care less about how people like my drawing or how well I do.
What is more important is that I do keep drawing.
If I'm enjoying it, if it's mean something to me, it' enough.

In this ugly and beautiful city,
I got a strong centered mind and unashamed braveness.

I draw and paint and sculpt.
Tie and stick and name it and create a meaning.
Take a shoot and shot and sing and dance.
Imagine and think and write and question.

All of these things are my works.
I'd love to share my thoughts and creations here.
lots of thanks to this beautiful idea that sharing ideas can turn into a coin.
Let's keep looking at each other and create a lot of new possibilities to this world.

믿거나 말거나 나는 부끄러움을 많이 타는 사람이다. 아니 이었었다.
사진 찍는 것을 좋아했지만, 항상 카메라 앞보다는 뒤가 더 편했다.
이 사진들을 보고 무슨 말이냐고?

무언가 변했다.
완전히 다시 태어났다는 말이 맞다.
누군가 내 나이를 묻는다면 1.5살이라고 대답한다.
1.5년, 서울에서 베를린으로 옮겨온지 일년 반이 지났다.

한국에서는 미술사와 인류학을 공부했다.
EBS 교육방송에서 유아 콘텐츠 관련 일을 한 4년 하기도 했다.
고등학교때 장래희망을 물으면 항상 예술가라고 대답했지만
나이를 먹을수록 뭘 만들고 내 작품이라고 보여주기가 부담스러웠다.

회사를 그만두고 여행을 하던 도중 베를린과 사랑에 빠졌다.
이 도시는 그다지 예쁘지는 않지만 나에게 시선으로부터의 자유를 주었다.
그 여름 공원에 앉아 그림을 그리고 있을 때
다가와 말 걸어 주었던 사람들,
처음으로 내가 얼마나 잘 하는가, 내 그림이 얼마나 멋지고 대단한가
보다 내가 그림을 그리고 있다는 행위 자체가 중요하다는 것을 느꼈다.
내가 재미 있으면, 나에게 의미 있으면, 세상에서 어떤 무엇이 그보다 더 중요할까.

그리고 옮겨온 이 아름답고 지저분한 도시에서
난 단단한 중심과 두꺼운 낯짝을 얻었다.

난 낙서하고, 그리고, 만든다.
묶고, 붙이고, 색을 입히고, 의미와 이름을 붙인다.
찍고, 찍히고, 노래하고, 춤춘다.
상상하고, 생각하고, 묻고, 쓰고,

이 모든 것들이 나에게는 일이자 작업이다.
나는 나의 생각과 창작물들을 이곳에 공유하고자 한다.
생각의 공유가 화폐로 변할 수 있다는 이 아름다운 아이디어에 무한한 감사를.
서로 꾸준히 지켜보면서 세상에 다양한 변화를 함께 만들어 나갈 수 있기를.
