Yes i am from cape town. The water situation was a bit hectic in the beginning but cape townains have really cut down their usage and we've seen a little bit of rain and day zero (when all the water is gone) keeps getting pushed back.
We have a few projects going to get water from the sea, build new dams and access underground water so hopefully it gets sorted soon. Wow, thanks for telling me about Cape Town. A friend is now gone there for a month and she was really worried because the news that comes to Spain are really tragic about your city. I am very glad that you start using the sea water, I think that is the destiny of the whole Earth. We are destroying it and well ... if the sea saves us all. I agree with you but we also need to learn to save water, we waste too much of it so hopefully, Cape Town can be a lesson to the world on what happens if you don't save water and how to save water in the future.
