What's Up Hive, Check-My-Bumpz Introduction

What's up Hive? I'm no stranger to crypto and have been a Hive member since 2021 and following crypto news since 2014, but I never did a proper introduction post so here it goes.

I'm a dyed in the wool old school crypto bro first and foremost and still hold strongly to the principles of early crypto in that I believe firmly in decentralization, permissionless cryptocurrency as a way to make the world a better and more financially inclusive place.

As an old-school crypto bro, I'm also a bit of an anarchist/agorist at heart and have absolutely no use for Party Politics of any persuasion and do not support any state actors of particular financial institutions. Crypto to me equals freedom from any and all interference by States and Financial Institutions.

As for me, I'm a newly married man with a wife in rural Vietnam and the dream to eventually make enough money through crypto or freelance writing to be able to move there permanently and live peacefully amongst the chickens, stray dogs, and mountains, reading books, gardening, listening to music and following whatever intellectual interests pique my endless curiosity.

For now, I am living in the land of sultry endless summer nights, and alligators.

Currently, my hobbies are biking, reading books, engaging deeply with the BTC Ordinals, Stamps, and Historical NFT communities, listening to music, studying languages, writing, meditation, and of course, coffee.

Some of my favorite types of music are old school Electronic Music of all genres and 80s/90s thrash and death metal, but I am a music lover so usually I can find something to dig no matter what it is.

In fact, a fun story is that in high school my best friend got Deeds of Flesh and Dying Fetus (two Death Metal bands) to play in his basement, and the tour shirt from that era has "Ians House" on one of the dates if I recall.

My favorite books are old fantasy novels, Haiku and Waka poems, and classic novels.

I'd put up some of my wedding photos but at heart, I'm a very private guy and don't really want my face or my wife's face out there, so the only photo you will ever see of me is this one, which is only partial, because it is hidden behind my 18 year old cat.
