Yeah, i've been wondering though, how does these people earn steem, steem power, So far, after few hours of been here on steemit I am only seeing my accounts "Estimated Account Value" increased. Aside from that nothing is increasing at all. And followed you too.
I know that you earn steem and steem power for posts that get upvoted, but they don't pay out until after 7 days. Even though my introductory post has upvotes, my wallet is also basically empty because I haven't had a payout yet. There are lots of posts I've come across that explain more, too. You can find them by searching in the tags, or looking at the popular pages. I'll probably re-steem some too for reference.
