This is a great post! I agree with you about how the unbanked people of the world could really make great use of this site. You're a very advanced thinker, for sure. Maybe you can help the Steemit community by making a video about Steemit?
You can find a lot of helpful information on this site that one of our community members built: https://www.steemithelp.net/
Welcome!
I think it's best to get your friends in Steemit.
When I first found this site, I blogged about it and many of my online friends joined. Many of them did quite well because I just encouraged them to keep trying. It is frustrating at first because when you first enter, no one knows who you are. You have to keep at it until people find your stuff. Good luck!
ah, well, thanks. I ran out of comment threads earlier. The best thing to do is be yourself. It's rare for people to instantly just make a large payout on their first post. I think finding your story was the thing I was supposed to do today.
yes, me too. I've been thinking about making videos.......people do what they think needs to be done for the community, so we need some people to make such videos for sure...
Hey man, I sent 4 SBD when I received your message re: resteeming, does it get resteemed automatically? Just wanted to make sure that my SBD went thru correctly to ya
Welcome Carlo! So good to have you here brother. Would love to read more about your faith. If you're interested, you can check out the Christian-links channel on Steemit Chat. We are also in the process of setting up a curation trail for Christian related content. You can DM me on Steemit Chat or email me at nextgen622@gmail.com if you would like to be involved. Jimmy
Welcome Carlo,
Great introduction post! Hopefully you can help spread Steemit to the Philippines. We share 1 and maybe 3 things in common: Brothers in Christ. Pacquiao fan? Lumpia fan?
I was born on Guam, and somehow lumpia became a food we love. I think my dad had it there. It is a great snack, but I agree about it can be greasy. My sisters family and mine get together and roll a couple hundred and freeze them. They cook just like they were rolled fresh, and that way you can have just a few anytime you want.
Next time I make them I have to take a lot of photos and blog about it here. Next time your sister does you should do the same, we can compare recipes :-D
Hey, I am just trying to get to know my followers better so I can choose somebody to support with what my thank you post made. I want to take that opportunity to thank you for following me! I really love your posts . I also think that we can do help a lot of people with steemit. Maybe you are interested to support Eric @anomadsoul with his category #faithinhumanity to raise money for good projects. I also will do that on my travel :) Good to have you with us!
Hello Carlo! Thanks for the follow!
As @lizanomadsoul is telling you, we have a category called #faithinhummanity that is just starting but we could use as much help as we can get. Every week we post in Spanish and English (possibly german in the future) some heartwarming stories and all the money the posts get we donate it to a good cause, the first week was to buy food for dogs in a dog shelter. I hope you are interested joining us!
Maybe you are interested to join us starting the same thing or helping us translate, resteeming or upvoting! The idea is to make the category as big as posible and try that more steemians use the tag to keep helping each on their way!
Welcome aboard Carlo, and greetings from Tokyo! I hope you have fun here and enjoy being a part of the Steemit community. We're a friendly bunch so feel free to ask around if you've got any questions about how stuff works. I agree the site could benefit from some well organized tutorial videos. It can take a while to learn some of the more subtle nuances of the system, but the fact that there's so many different aspects to Steemit is one of the things that keeps it interesting to me.
This is one of the BEST posts I've seen so far. You're an amazing young man and in behalf of all mom's in the world, I say: I'M PROUD OF YOU. Best of all to you sweetie. :-)
You're very welcome. What type of things do you want to blog about? Also, once you earn and have some numbers behind your account, show your friends and family how great it is to earn money sharing content! I sent you 1 Steem Backed Dollar. Welcome!
I share your belief that STEEMIT can be used as a tool to increase one's cash. It is also a great place to meet new people, new ideas and contribute to a thriving comunity.
I love this last picture of you and your schoolmates.
Peace and love to all.

Welcome Carlo Belgado (I prefer to use people's real names too, more real) and, as this is social media, let's be real and social!
I really enjoyed reading through your post. I have friends from the Philippines, and my favourite golfer Jason Day, has an amazing story from your country - much of it sad from the devastation of his family as a result of a typhoon, as you call them. He is now Number 1 in the world! Great things are possible.
Your English seems excellent. For you and your friends, there are many ways to improve your languages online. Let me know if you need direction.
Lastly, be careful with Bitcoin there, when you get to it. Get advice, probably from the Steemit experts. There are many scams going on there!
Welcome again and thank you for your very well composed post.
Bitcoin. Safe. I trade similar to @craig-grant. Convert to Bitcoin. (or do not) the shart term is Bitcoin.
I hold it in Coinbase ... Just whatever you do stay away from OneCoin!!! (Serious)
Your post is interesting and very well written. I look forward to reading more from you. I hope your success here inspires others your age to join us; the youth is the future!
Steem can and does help people out of poverty. The issue is how to make sure Steemit remains sustainable so that the revenue doesn't dry out. It only can provide jobs for people if Steem and Steem Dollars have sustainable value and that only happens if Steem Power is in demand.
Well, I guess you will learn in time that stake-weighted voting has its inherent problems. You see, the whales voted for your post because they value it. They do not value posts equally, as it's entirely subjective. I've been here for 6 months and the whales have voted for a lot of my posts before. Everything here is subjective, and not equal. You will learn this as you go along. There's luck involved too.
ah, yes, emotional attachment is a killer. You're catching on, for sure. Stay focused and realize it's not the end of the world if your second post doesn't make as much as your first. Goals, goals, goals. You see, one of the founders voted for your post, his name is Ned. Other big Steem holders voted for your post too. It would be great if you could challenge yourself to getting the unbanked onto Steemit. That would be an amazing story!
Welcome to Steemit.com buddy, glad to have you here and its cool to see new faces. Looking forward to reading your posts in the future, I've upvoted this one and am now following you. Cheers and merry xmas from Seattle WA USA!
Greetings Carlo! Welcome. I appreciated your post, upvoted it and will resteemit . As well I will be sharing this with 2 of my friends (co-workers) here in Montana, USA. Ron & Nante. I've been telling them about the steemit platform and crypto currencies (they are from the Philippines) and just got back from a trip there in September. Perhaps your encouragement, will help them "get on board". So I will share your post with them.
I do humanitarian outreach with Direct Connect in PI. One group from Billings, MT just came back in October. Pleased to meet you and perhaps strengthen ties between us on this platform. ~Peace!
Great first post Carlo and good luck. As for money you will see that there are some big hitters but the majority just earn a few pence.

Hey, welcome Carlo! I'm new to steemit too. I think it's an awesome platform so far.
There is a bit of a learning curve, and yes I agree that video tutorials would definitely help! I'm a techie and even I had to dig around a little bit to figure this thing out!
Anyway, I'd really appreciate if you would check out my first two posts. I'm a Christian too, so I'd love to connect.
